Home from the Holidays
Jesse and I are back home in Cali after Christmas break in Canada. We had a great time visiting family and resting, and the time went way too fast.
A HUGE thank you to mom-Dybenko who flew us home and generously opened her home (and hot tub) to me and my brothers and sisters.
Our prayers are with Papa Hugli who suffered a heart attack while we visited and is now home with my Uncle Mike and Aunt Maggie in Oshawa. We are so thankful we were able to visit with him and that his recent angioplasty was so successful. Papa will be living in Oshawa from now on and his home in Lindsay will soon be up for sale. (Take note Katie and Jono if you still have any of your stuff there!!!)
Unfortunately our time in Canada as a couple was shorter than we originally thought. We had hoped to drive up to London to visit with friends, but time just did not allow. We’ll be back in mid-May, so hopefully we can catch up then!
Here’s to 2009!!!!
PS. Erica, Dan and Mike – thank you so much for the books. Your gifts are always so well thought out. We loved spending time with you and playing Wii Fit with you. We’re sorry we aren’t the morning people you deserve to hang out with… but it’s a new year and we both have resolutions to be morning-people by next year. :) You two are the picture of health and an inspiration to us both.
Katie, Phil, Rachel and Jono – So glad we could all go tubing together and spend time as siblings if only for a few hours.

Hey Guys, Glad to hear you made it back to SF safe and sound (can’t wait to see your pics from the road).
