Touchée Delta, Touchée.

So this morning when I got up to get ready for work and stepped in the tub to have a shower I pulled up the knob (diverter – for you plumbing heads) on the tub spout to force the water up to the shower head and a white piece of plastic flew out the end [...]

Parker and Christen’s long walk

Today a tourist asked me where the Mrs. Doubtfire houses are “the 4 coloured ones”.  I actually was able to tell the her it was Alamo Square she was looking for (which was actually from the set of Full House).  I pointed her in the right direction.  Maybe that gets me a few more San [...]

Jesse’s first day

Jesse’s already asleep. He had a super long day as he got up at 5:00am to make sure he got there on time. He had to take a bus and then Caltrain and then a cab to arrive for the 8:00am start. Tomorrow he starts by 9:00am but he now has his Apple ID so [...]

Head to [...]

Day 3

Well, we’ve been busy. That might be an understatement. Yesterday we were taken all around the Pacific Heights area by our destination specialist Rita. She had a bunch of places for us to see, but none of them really clicked for us.  I don’t think she really “got” who we were.  She must be used [...]

First day wrap up.

After sleeping five hours yesterday afternoon, Jesse and I took Parker for her first walk at Lafayette Park.  It’s about 300 meters away from us here but  SO STEEP. My goodness. I wore heels (that’s not happening again).  This morning both of our calves are aching! [View from Lafayette Park - lookin down our street. [...]
