So this morning when I got up to get ready for work and stepped in the tub to have a shower I pulled up the knob (diverter – for you plumbing heads) on the tub spout to force the water up to the shower head and a white piece of plastic flew out the end of the spout and… no water out of the shower.  I leaned down to check out the spout and guess what – it’s a Delta Commercial tub spout, one of the product lines I was working on an update for while I was with Delta!

After fiddling with it for a few minutes I realized that I couldn’t fix it without a special tool or a replacement part, so it looks like the building manager will have to get a new one before we can shower again.

You win this time, Delta!
