Yesterday Christen and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary! Christen spent most of the morning and afternoon at a WordPress conference in the city here which gave her the chance to meet some people in the web development community here.

Afterwards, she joined me at our new apartment (still littered in boxes and packing paper) and we sat down to a take-out Vietnamese dinner at our coffee table. It’s funny – even though our new apartment is a mess and you can barely weave your way through all of the boxes, it still feels more like home than the beautiful, clean corporate apartment we have been staying in until now.

It was just great to be able to spend time together and reminisce about how things were 6 years ago in Kingston while marveling at how we’d come to living in the beautiful city we’re in now.

Who knows where the future will take us? One thing we do know is that we’ll go there together.
