Yesterday we were taken all around the Pacific Heights area by our destination specialist Rita. She had a bunch of places for us to see, but none of them really clicked for us. I don’t think she really “got” who we were. She must be used to taking really wealthy people around cause she was showing us Tiffany Jewelers and took us on a tour of a street where the most expensive home in SF (&78 Million). Obviously the area was gorgeous with views etc but just kind of posh and quiet and yuppy-ish.

Tonight Jesse and I went exploring in The Mission. It felt more like home cause everyone around us seemed about our age. It was so vibrant and the atmosphere was incredible. We ate dinner at this awesome Indian Restaurant called Aslam Rosoi and Jesse and I recognized one of my web 2.0 “idols” at the table next to us. (Lane Becker of http://getsatisfaction.com). The Mission seemed nice but some areas were sketchy. However, we hear that the insides of the apartments there are amazing. I guess we’ll have a look around on Craig’s List tonight.

Oh yah – we also found this amazing dog store called Wags. It’s like Bark n Fitz but it’s also a Dog Hotel. (Erica – they have Wet Noz and SO many other amazing dishes!!).

Oh and I just might be crazy enough to try this…. in a few weeks maybe.
